How to Change a Single Appointment Type’s Duration
Click the three dots icon on the left navigation panel to open the settings menu.
Select Appointment Types.
Use the search bar to find and select the desired Appointment Type.
Under the General tab in the Appointment Type update the Appointment Duration field to reflect the desired length. You can also adjust the time booked for multiple patients from 2-6 patients.
Minimum Booking Window sets how soon an appointment can be booked.
For example, if set to 1 hour, the earliest available time a patient can book is 1 hour from the current time. This helps prevent last-minute bookings.Maximum Booking Window sets how far in advance patients can book.
For example, if set to 4 weeks, patients will only see available appointments within the next 4 weeks from today. This prevents bookings too far in the future.
How to Bulk Update Multiple Appointment Durations
Click the three dots icon on the left navigation panel.
Select Appointment Types.
Use the checkboxes to select multiple Appointment Types.
Click Duration from the toolbar above.
Enter the new duration and confirm to apply the update.
Key Notes About Group Booking
Please Note: Changing the duration of any Appointment Type will also update its time requirements for group booking.
Troubleshooting
Warning: If updates aren’t applying, ensure no appointments are currently active for the Appointment Type(s) being changed.
