What is Multi-Service Booking?
Multi-Service Booking allows patients to schedule dual appointments—such as a Flu Shot and COVID-19 Vaccine—at the same time through the Booking Portal.
Tip: This is commonly used for flu and COVID-19 co-administration clinics.
Previously, Patient Interest Flagging allowed patients to express interest in multiple services, but required manual intervention from a pharmacist. Multi-Service Booking eliminates this step by allowing self-scheduling of both services if configured correctly.
Patient Experience
When Multi-Service Booking is enabled:
- Patients can select a primary service and are automatically prompted to add a second eligible service. 
- A second confirmation step appears before the booking is finalized. 
Warning: This feature only works if Public Intake is enabled for both appointment types.
How to Enable Multi-Service Booking
To allow patients to co-book services like Flu and COVID-19:
- Go to the Settings tab then to Appointment Types. 
- Select the Flu Appointment type. 
- Ensure Enable Public Intake is toggled ON. 
- Repeat for the COVID Appointment type. 
Once enabled for both, MedMe will automatically surface co-bookable options to patients during self-scheduling.
Please Note: No additional setup is needed beyond turning on Public Intake for both appointment types.
Rescheduling a Multi Service Booking as a Pharmacy team member
Pharmacy team members can reschedule or cancel parts of a Multi Service booking appointment without canceling the whole appointment.
- Click on the appointment in the Calendar or the Patient File 
- Select Reschedule from the dropdown menu in the appointment details. 
- Choose one or more services to reschedule from the list provided. 
- Select a reason for rescheduling. 
- Choose one of the following: - Select a new time slot directly from the calendar, or - Send the patient a Scheduling Link to rebook at their convenience. 
Canceling a Multi Service Booking as a Pharmacy team member
- Click the appointment in the Calendar or Patient File. 
- Click Cancel from the dropdown menu in the appointment details. 
- Use the checkboxes to select the service(s) to cancel. 
Please Note : The patient will receive confirmation of the reschedule or cancellation.
Rescheduling a Multi Service Booking as a Patient
Patients can reschedule parts of a Multi booking appointment without canceling the whole appointment now :
- Open the confirmation email for the appointment. 
- Click Reschedule. 
- Use the checkboxes to select the service(s) to reschedule. 
- Enter a reason for rescheduling. 
- Select a new date and time from the available calendar slots. 
- Click Continue to confirm the new appointment time. 
Canceling a Multi Service Booking as a Patient
Patients can cancel parts of a Multi booking appointment without canceling the whole appointment now :
- Open the confirmation email for the appointment. 
- Click Cancel. 
- Use the checkboxes to select the service(s) to cancel. 
- Enter a reason for cancellation. 
- Confirm the cancellation to finalize the changes. 
Tip : The patient will receive confirmation of the reschedule or cancellation.
