Custom Appointment Types with tailored documentation options provide pharmacists with an agile tool for offering specialized services not yet available as standalone MedMe modules. This allows you to capture specific patient data upfront, easing the consultation process and improving service quality.

Some services this appointment type can be used for include:

  • Travel Services to ask patients before the appointment where they are travelling and when their departure date is

  • Smoking cessation to ask patients about past quit attempts and complete required documentation

  • Other appointment types that require specific forms to be completed by the pharmacist

Please Note: Some custom documentation for these appointments may be subject to an additional fee.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview

Custom appointment types offer configurable elements like:

  • Name, overview, and details

  • Optional badges with tooltips to indicate fees or coverage

  • Instructions for walk-in appointments

Patient Intake

Standard forms collect Contact Information, Medical Information, and Consent. You can add a specialized intake page to capture specific patient data in advance. This data will be viewable in the Documentation section during the appointment.

Please Note: Additional fees may apply for custom documentation.

Appointment Settings

Under General, the following settings can be modified:

  • Public intake (patient self-scheduling), Walk-in appointments, Patient Rescheduling

  • Appointment Duration

  • Booking Window

Under Calendar Availability the following settings can be accessed and changed:

  • Assigned calendars

  • Custom availability settings

  • One-off availability for specific clinic days

Pharmacist Documentation

  • Access patient intake responses under the Documentation Card located in the Patient Profile under the specific Consultation Type

  • Edit responses as needed, though this won't alter the main patient profile

  • Add pharmacist-only forms to enhance documentation

Please Note: PDFs will be auto-generated based on the relevant documentation.
