What it does
The Hide Patient Personal Data setting limits what shows on your calendar. When it's on, appointment tiles and tooltips display only the patient's name and appointment time — clinical details like appointment type, reason for visit, service type, and injection name are hidden.
This is useful if your calendar is visible on a shared screen or in a common area, and you want to keep clinical details private while still seeing who's booked and when.
How to turn it on
Go to Settings.
Select Privacy and Security.
Switch on Hide Patient Personal Data.
Your calendar updates immediately — no need to refresh or restart.
With the setting turned off, the appointment type name appears.
What changes when it's on
Where | Normally shows | With this setting on |
Calendar appointment tiles | Patient name, appointment type, service type, method icon | Patient name and time only |
Appointment tooltip (on hover) | Appointment type, topic/service type, reason for visit, injection name | Patient name and time only |
What it doesn't affect
This setting only changes the calendar view and its tooltips. It does not hide or change anything on:
Patient profiles
Patient lists or search
Notifications
Any other page in the platform
Important to know
This setting is saved to your browser, not your account. If you use the calendar on more than one computer or browser, you'll need to turn it on separately on each one.
Any team member with access to Settings can turn this on or off — there's no separate permission required.
FAQ
Does turning this on hide information from other pharmacy team members too?
No — this setting only affects what appears on your own screen, in your browser. Other team members' calendars are unaffected.
Will this affect what patients see when booking online?
No, this only applies to the pharmacist-facing calendar in the platform.
