Accessing the Calendar Tab
To open the calendar, click the Calendar icon on the left-hand menu.
This opens the main scheduling interface, where users can manage appointments and toggle between different calendar views and filters.
Navigating the Calendar Menu
What It Does:
The top menu bar includes key navigation tools to help manage daily and weekly appointments.
Key tools include:
Today – Jump directly to the current date.
Date Picker – Open a mini-calendar to choose another date.
Arrow Buttons – Navigate forward or backward by day or week.
Zoom In/Out – Adjust how much of the day is visible vertically.
Create – Quickly add a new appointment or block off time.
Printer Icon – Export the calendar as a CSV or print view.
Tip: Use the Appointments tab in the left menu for a List View with filter options by date, status, and type. Click Apply to enable filters.
Switching Between Day and Week Views
What It Does:
Toggle between Week View and Day View using the Week/Day button at the top of the calendar.
Week View shows all appointments for one calendar over seven days.
Day View allows the display of up to three calendars side-by-side, ideal for tracking multiple pharmacists, rooms, or services.
Viewing Multiple Calendars
What It Does:
In Day View, users can view up to three calendars at once.
How to Add Multiple Calendars:
Switch to Day View.
Click the Calendar button in the top menu.
Select up to three calendars from the dropdown.
Please Note: This feature is useful for pharmacies managing multiple consultation rooms or overlapping staff schedules.
Filtering and Searching Appointments
What It Does:
Helps display only relevant appointment types or services on the calendar.
Filtering by Type:
Click the Type dropdown.
Select the appointment type(s) to highlight on the calendar.
Searching for Keywords:
Use the Search Bar at the top.
Type keywords like “flu” or “cholesterol.”
Click a result to filter the view to only that appointment type.
For Instance: Typing “Cholesterol” will show only cholesterol-related appointments.
Resetting the Calendar View
What It Does:
Returns the calendar to its default display state.
How to Reset:
Click the Reset button at the top of the calendar.
This clears all filters, search terms, and calendar selections. You can then reselect calendar views or filters as needed.
Rescheduling Appointments
What It Does: MedMe provides two ways to reschedule appointments, giving you flexibility in managing your calendar.
Method 1: Reschedule via Patient Profile
Click on an appointment in the calendar to navigate to consultation details card within the patient profile.
Click the status dropdown in the top right corner.
Select the Reschedule option to choose a new time slot.
Method 2: Drag and Drop to Reschedule
Click on an appointment block in the calendar.
Drag it to the desired new time slot.
Drop it in place.
A modal will appear showing the new appointment details, including:
New date and time
Calendar (if moved to a different calendar)
Patient notification options
Rescheduling Between Calendars:
For pharmacies managing multiple calendars, you can easily move appointments between them:
Switch to Day View using the Week/Day dropdown at the top.
Click the Calendar button in the top menu.
Select up to three calendars to display side-by-side.
Drag an appointment from one calendar and drop it into another.
Notification Options:
The drag and drop reschedule modal gives you control over patient notifications:
Notify patients: Choose to notify the patient via Email and/or SMS about the new appointment time.
You can avoid notifying patients in cases such as:
Making internal calendar organization changes
Rescheduling appointments where the patient has already been informed (e.g., via phone or in-person)
Moving appointments between calendars without sending unnecessary notifications
Important: Rescheduling is not available for appointments with the status "Completed," "Arrived," or "No-Show."

The calendar is designed to help pharmacy teams manage appointments more effectively across rooms, services, and providers.
Day View and filtering options provide flexibility for various pharmacy workflows.
