We've expanded the list of injections available through the Immunizations & Injections (I&I) module to include the RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to add RSV to your I&I module.

Add RSV to the patient-facing list of available injections

  1. Access Immunization/Injection Appointment Settings:

    • Navigate to Settings and click on Appointment Types and Immunization/Injection.

  2. Edit the Injection List:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Edit Injection List.

  3. Select Offered Injections:

    • Check the box next to RSV - Respiratory Syncytial Virus - Arexvy to include it in your available injections.

  4. Save Changes:

    • Select the Update Injection List button to save your changes.

Adding RSV to your I&I appointment allows patients to schedule appointments for RSV vaccinations directly with your pharmacy. The pharmacy can still schedule patients for RSV appointments if this setting is not turned on.

Booking RSV Appointments

As a pharmacist, you have three options for scheduling patients for RSV vaccinations within the system:

  • Schedule them directly into your calendar.

  • Send the patient a booking link to book an appointment.

  • Initiate a consultation immediately to assess their eligibility for the vaccination.

A full walkthrough of these three options can be found here, Pharmacy Initiated Appointments.

Editing and Saving Documentation

Edit and save documentation to maintain accurate patient records. The information collected during the patient intake and appointment scheduling process is recorded in the patient's profile, and the pharmacy can edit this information if things change.

To view or print a copy of the full immunization record, click the View/Print PDF button.
