The most common reason for not being able to access the video call is that the browser has blocked access to the camera and microphone. To unblock access, see the various browser tutorials below.

Microsoft Edge (desktop)

  1. Click the 3 dots icon at the top right corner of the browser.

  2. In the menu on the left, click Cookies and site permission.

  3. Click the arrow at the right of the medmeapp.com site and confirm that Ask or Allow is selected for both the Camera and the Microphone.

  4. Refresh the page.

Google Chrome (both mobile device and desktop)

  1. Click the 3 dots icon at the top right corner of the browser.

  2. Click Settings. Scroll down and click Site Settings.

  3. Click Camera and click to turn the camera ON.

  4. If "medmeapp.com" is in the Blocked list, click on it and click Clear & Reset.

  5. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for Microphone.

  6. Refresh the page.

Safari (mobile device)

  1. Simply refresh the page, and the microphone and camera access request will reappear!

    If that doesn’t work:

  2. Open the Settings app. Tap on Safari, and then on Camera.

  3. Scroll down, then tap on Camera. Confirm that Ask or Allow is selected.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3, this time for Microphone.

  5. Return to Safari and refresh the page.

Safari (desktop)

  1. Click Safari at the top left corner of the screen.

  2. Click Settings for This Website.

  3. Click Camera, and then Allow.

  4. Click Microphone, and then Allow.

  5. Refresh the page.
